My Time in the VW Hobby
Besides loving Vintage Volkswagens the vehicle, the hobby is also about getting together with great people who share your interest, and connecting with them on the internet. As with many hobbies, you make friends all over the country and the world as you search for parts, ask questions, and attend VW shows. I love driving and fixing my VWs and with each Winter I can't wait till the Spring time, so I can get my vehicles back on the road driving to VW shows to again see the friends I have made through the years.

Colin Burnham and Laurence Meredith. VW Authors came in from England for a USA tour and we went to Liberty State Park to shoot my 66 conv for a feature, and cover of his new book.

The first VW Show I organized & ran, at Liberty State Park.

The next year 1992. I was called by Raceway Park, Englishtown New Jersey to start and run the VW Show with the "Jersey VW Club".
The following year 1993, The Jersey Club had other commitments so I brought in "The Central Jersey Volkswagen Society". They took it from there.
